We write health coverage for the gaps: the stretch between jobs, the trip abroad, the event where somebody has to be covered for a weekend. If you need a full major medical plan, or you are coming up on Medicare, say so when you call and we will point you the right way.
Short term major medical covers a defined stretch of time rather than a full plan year. It is useful between jobs, while waiting for an employer plan to start, or after coming off a parent's coverage. These plans are built for temporary situations and they are not the same thing as a full major medical plan, so it matters that somebody explains the difference before you buy. We will.
Travel medical, domestic and international, covers you while you are away from home. If you are leaving the country, your regular health plan very likely does not follow you, and a medical evacuation without coverage is genuinely ruinous. Worth sorting out before a mission trip, a cruise or a long stay overseas.
Special event coverage is short term medical coverage for one specific event: a tournament, a camp, a church trip, a one-off gathering. The venue or the organizing body often requires it.
