Auto insurance is the one policy Mississippi requires you to carry, and it is the one most people buy on price alone without ever finding out what they actually bought. We would rather spend ten minutes making sure you understand it.

Collision pays to repair or replace your vehicle after an accident, no matter who caused it.

Comprehensive covers your vehicle for the things that are not collisions: theft, vandalism, fire, hail, a deer in the road, a tree limb in a storm. Glass damage falls under this too.

Uninsured and underinsured motorist pays for your injuries and your property when the driver who hit you has no insurance or not enough of it. Given how many drivers on Mississippi roads carry the state minimum or nothing at all, this is the coverage we find people most often wish they had bought.
